Kelsee....I've now slept on it, so I'm not as mad as I was before, but I'm still not happy.

Call it the straw that broke the camel's back.  Every time there's a really small stupid mistake everyone says, "oh its not that big a deal", and in insolation, each mistake has been small. 

You are right, this closing of the PP should be something to celebrate, and it is....but then I wonder how many people read the PR and then said, "Oh look....the company has a blog.  I wonder what they're putting up on it.  What???  Its just a link to the company website".

You are right, I don't know how they run Quality Control on the scientific side, I just hope and pray their attention to detail is better than what it is on the corporate communication side of things.
