Nice blog Led. As for analogies for selective vs. pan-inhibition....... I think a Jeckyl and Hyde or a two headed dragon (one good one bad) analogy works. Pan inhibition takes out both Jeckyl and Hyde, or both dragons. Selective inhibition takes out Hyde but leaves Jeckyl more or less alone. Or with the two headed analogy, selective inhibition takes out the bad dragon and leaves the good one more or less unaffected.
