Interesting thought Hart....and it is a conundrum.  I posted a link to a news item yesterday that indicated Beacon got out of the retail game a couple years back.  I'm not sure if this is the same link as before, but no matter:

And it is true that most institutional investors won't touch stocks trading under $5, however I would not include Hedge Funds as institutional.  But the question does beg, for whom exactly was this report written?  Nobody in particular?

FWIW I notice that Beacon does seem to have something of a profile, they're quoted in news stories in publications like the Globe&Mail and even the CBC.    

I will say that I found the title or subject of the report:  "The New Doctor Is In. First Perscription Is A Full Dose of Resverlogix"....I don't know, I find it a bit on the cheeseball side of things.  Whatever the case it doesn't appear there's been much of an impact, in fact it might very well be 0.
