The AHA abstract entitled “Apabetalone Downregulates Factors That Promote Vascular Calcification and Contribute to Cardiovascular Events” should be available online tomorrow afternoon (currently embargoed). But I wouldn't get my hopes up about too new of information being presented by RVX at AHA. It's not their first time presenting on the vascular calcification theme (see other abstracts/posters/titles on the Publications Page). Sure, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some new data included or a new post-hoc analysis of previous trial data that strengthens their claim, but we already know that apabetalone beneficially modulates certain aspects of vascular calcification. Anyways, this is just a poster presentation at a scientific conference, not really a venue/forum for presenting to shareholders regarding corporate updates or other investor concerns.
