Message: Corporate Image - Giving Resverlogix the benefit of the doubt...

I've been a little harsh of late....suggesting that perhaps the reason for all the ham fisted and seemily incompetent actions of the last several months, I've been suggesting that perhaps its being done on purpose in an effort to exasperate retail investors.

But maybe Don and Clayton and the rest, maybe its simply a case of ignorance.  Perhaps they don't realize the importance of a projecting a positive corporate image.  Like a guy in the office who doesn't bathe every day who thinks its not a problem because he can't detect his own offensive body odour.  Perhaps Don as the head of a coproate entitity is severely lacking in this knowledge.

Here's an article, there are tons availalbe, on building and projecting a positive corporate image.

I hope I'm not upsetting anyone by posting this, it strikes me that many here don't view it as being of any importance.  I've worked in the corporate world, so I know how important it is to project an image of competence and professionalism.  If you're running a small business in Podunk Arkansas or Lower Boot Lick Saskatchewan...then maybe its not that big a deal.

If the Piggy Wiggly in Scratchy Knee Alberta has posted hours of 8am to 8pm but doesn't open some days until after 1PM, their customers may say....''No big deal, Joey musta been out drinking again''.  That might fly in a small town, but its not going to cut it in the corporate world.

I'm gonna keep trying to get Clayton on the phone.....I don't know his history, maybe he's from that small town in Scratchy Knee and doesn't realize how unprofessional it looks to have the company announcing attendance at things like investor conference and then not showing up.  Maybe he doesn't see the benefit of putting out accurate information.....I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume its ignorance.

I will say this of Heather, the individual with whom I've spoken each time I've called so far.  I think she's doing an outstanding job, given the people she works with.  Her telephone manner is exceptional, bright cheerful...a good listener, she doesn't over promise and under deliver.

Guys like Clayton, if they're going into a meeting, they should give her clear instructions about how to handle requests to speak with them.  "Heather I'm going to be in a meeting from 10 to noon in the board room, but if Gary from Altainvest calls I want you to linterrupt the conference, I have to take that call.  If its that idiot calling about us not showing up at Rodman....tell him I'm in a meeting and to leave a voice mail if he wants".

Having Heather going hounding around the office looking for people...that speaks to a lack of communication within the company and reflects badly on the corporate image.
