The news is definitely hurricane focused right now...Harvey, Irma, Jose....the pastor from my church was due back from a vacation in Jamacia on Saturday but his flight was cancelled. It wasn't because the storm had a big effect on Jamacia, but because the airline diverted planes to the affected islands to evacuate travellers. Glad he's safe and praying for those who either stayed or who'll be going back to the aftermath.
Kind of puts the stock market in general and RVX in particular into perspective....true of a lot of things. I am blessed to live in a country and an area where severe weather never approaches the scale that we're seeing reported on TV now, be it in the Carribean, Texas or Florida. Snow doesn't seem so bad when compared to seeing entire neighborhoods submerged.
Things will play out as they're going to play out here....and trying to predict things is almost like trying to track the course of a Hurricane....still hoping/expecting a +FA will serve as a bullish catalyst for us here, but then we've been surprised before...especially those who've been around longer than I have.
Hope everyone is well.....
