imtesty - You are testing my memory here. The term "familial hypercholesterolemia" was used about 10 years ago in RVX presentations. It may have been around the time that Coco the African Green Monkey was being test in animal trials with RVX-208 prior to the first in human trial. My recollection is that a number of the same terms were used then as they are now with this new research. Maybe RVX-208 just turns these dormant genes on in these familial situations virsus adding more of these genes as stated in this article. 

For those reading this with a better memory or who can find there old notes or have a more scientific mind please chime in.

It is looking like RVX has quite a lead on the market from my memory of past info from our little company.
