Mini-Rant time....

It gets a little bit under my skin when individuals claim to have the gift of clarivoyance, a crystal ball that tells them exactly what's going to happen.  Obviously anything posted to a forum like this (or any other) is strictly opinion....but some seem to enjoy expressing opinion as 100% fact.  It makes sense...Donald Trump was elected president by asserting confidently how Mexico would pay for the border wall, and now DT's shorts are in a knot because the congress is balking at funding the project. The Mexicans ignored Trump's demand, what a shock.  But sounding confident and cocky is a good way to gain credibility.  If he'd said, "We'll try to make Mexico pay for it" people would have laughed...realizing how ludicrous that would be.

The question here is whether or not there will be news before the opening bell Monday.  Not about what the news might be, but simply whether we'll get an announcement or not.  And if there isn't any news....how will the market react.  Will it be seen as a positive, a negative...or will the reaction be 'meh'?

I'm almost hoping there is no news to be completely frank.  I want to see how the market would react.  I'm hopeful the reaction would be muted (flat with very light trading)....and daring to dream, I'd love to see the PPS move higher on decent trading.

Now just about 18 hours to go......
