Just because big players are involved...that doesn't ensure success.  Disney tossed money at Digiscents back in the day, and there are a host of major investors who have gotten things wrong on individual companies....they spread the risk around.  While RVX could pay off big, if it fails as an investment the big players have lots of money in play with other vehicles to soften the blow....the joys of having hundreds of millions or billions in play.
