I went back to one of BKC's recent Seeking Alpha articles and in it he cites this study that investigates the effects of RVX-208 on IL-1B in N9 microglial cells stimulated with the pro-inflammatory stimulus lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Amazing result in Figure 5! RVX-208 completely blocks the increase in IL-1B in response to LPS, similar to the pan-BET inhibitor JQ1. In addition, both JQ1 and RVX-208 prevented the increased expression of other pro-inflammatory cytokines including TNFalpha, IL-6, MCP-1 and RANTES. Very cool!
