Led, great post.

Absolutely fascinating time for RVX. More scientific interest. The focus among some of the scientific community seems to be building around BRD4 which seems to have been and is the focal point of RVX. Great to see some independent apabetalone research to be done in Canada. How wonderful is that given our low profile (Canada's) in scientific research. This is excellent and I am willing to bet that more PhD students will start experimenting in this area.

Posters on Stockhouse seem concerned about the "overnight share offering" and the dramatic drop in share price. This is an excellent buying opportuniy IMHO. We've got new investors or people building their positions.

However, the combination of the "overnight share offering" and the upcoming futility analysis may have caused some to bail out. Too bad for them. The 4th DSMB will have a huge impact if negative but provide support if positive.

So we had a moderate share price at about $2.20 plus and now down to whatever. I don't care. I hope it goes to $.50 or less because I'll buy in with every penny (whoops..make that nickle because we don't have pannies anymore) I have.

Anyway, my serious point is that some of the scientific community are becoming very focused on epigenetics and more specifically the advancements of RVX regarding BRD4. This compound is scientifically hot and I believe that Don understands this and that is why he is driving a hard bargan...as he should.

Of all the times I have posted criticisms of Don, I have also said he is steering a steady ship and he has not sold out short. He came up with the bridge financing IMHO because (my guess) he was not going to compromise the price he wants on the next deal.

So we'll get the next DSMB report. Not evidence to date suggests it will be negative but who knows?
