My belief is goobledegoop (sp) will be what happens on June 19th. I don't believe anyone should get their hopes up for anything of significance.
My current beliefs are as follows;
Therefore, on June 19th (I speculate) there will be nothing to announce except possible new scientific information, and I doubt that, because all of the latest releases have been same old same old stuff. I hope I am wrong.
There has been a remarkable amount of postive scientific discovery for apabetalone since June of 2013 and all of it is very positive with NO setbacks, and even now we are seeing discoveries from the academic scientific communities on apabetalone. Still I'm guessing that on June 19th Don will have nothing new to announce.
As always, I hope I am wrong, but I do believe that either apabetalone makes it for futility or it is finished in it's current form. If it passes futility BDAZ has pointed out many cases where drugs fail after that phase. So it is very high risk. If apabetalone passes futility it may fuel more independent academic research thus, if successful, could lead to further credibility for RVX. This independent research could begin to interest the pharmas.
SanFran, I really like your thoughts about Zenith. That has been my hope ever since the ASSURE failure to regress plaque. However, like me, I think you are dreaming. Zenith is only at the beginning. If the cone of silence by Zenith is due to profoundly positive results re mCRPC that is wonderful. But I do not see any acquisitor moving in event if that is that case until the drug is fully trialed over 3 phases and all of the other approvals required thereafter.
That being said, if zen3694 does have a very strong impact in prolonging life it might get early FDA approval. And then Pfizer and others may take interest. Obviously this is just all of my speculation and deduction.
