Message: Resverlogix and the Toronto Maple Leafs.....

I'm as anxious as anyone, in both a nervous AND in an excited way...heck its 1:30 am and here I am posting on a message board, that says it all.

The one thought that keeps playing in a loop in my brain is this....yes Apabetalone in of itself has multi-billion dollar potential imo if they're able to prove RRR of MACE with diabetic patients....of that I am convinced.  But that positive opinion is bookended with the knowledge that, according to all publicly available information, that the company is basically broke.  Its like having a 1962 Ferrari maybe, but not having enough gas to get it to the auction where it would sell for $30 million+....and what's more, you need the money because you're in debt $10 million.

How strong is DM's hand if in fact he's looking to let Apabetalone go?  Obviously the more players bidding in a hypothetical (or real life) auction the better.  But if I'm a potential buyer, and I know the seller is broke.....how motivated am I going to be to make a strong offer.  I'm thinking of that Simpsons episode where Flanders is broke and is willing to take pennies for his household goods....after he's done he doesn't even have the Bible to fall back on because he sold it to Homer Jay for 8 cents.

And now we have the SEDAR filing about $300,000 worth of RVX shares sold for $2.....which is like, what the heck???  It makes no sense, $300K is 3 days worth of operating cash given a burn rate of roughly $3 million per month.  And the point of contact on the filing is a partner with one of Canada's biggest legal firms, a guy who includes among his specialties M&A. Why would anyone give, and why would Resverlogix be willing to sell, so few shares for so little money.

I'll be honest.....if my shares suddenly became worth $5 I'd be thrilled....and at $10 I'd be over the moon.  Am I undervaluing Apabetalone at those figures....yeah, I think that's likely.  But with the money I'd have I could afford to do that.

Anyway....nightie night.  We'll see what Monday's trading brings, I'm expecting anything and everything....that is to say I have absolutely no idea what's gonna happen, not an inkling, not a hunch...I can see us going up, down or staying flat....the only wild card in my opinion is volume....if volume is 100K or higher then I am expecting the PPS to move.  Up or down though, I have no idea.
