Without risks there would be little to no potential for substantial rewards......If the issue of the LOC wasn't there, then perhaps you're right....maybe there would be buyers willing to storm in and pay much higher prices, but then there wouldn't be shares avaiable in the $2 area currently, or as low as $1.20 as recently as September.
As for so called "smart money" buyers....we have a public float here of some 50 odd million shares, its not an infinite number. How many of those shares are in strong hands and how many are in weak hands....that's up for debate, but with volumes rarely cresting 100K in a single day I don't think its that many....that of course is opinion and there's no way to verify one way or another that I know of.
For my own part, just because there's 100+ lots showing on the ask side from time to time.....I do not take that to mean that there are necessarily that many shares really available, we've all seen walls like that vanish in the blink of an eye with just a few hundred or a few thousand shares hitting the ask.
Everything is as it should be probably....we have uncertainty over whether BETonMACE will succeed or not, things look good so far but that's no gaurentee that something won't go wrong later, and then there's the whole FDA not recognizing the trial at all. And of course there's the aforementioned LOC issue and the need for further capital to complete the current trial and start new ones.
Resolve some or all of those issues and if BETonMACE succeeds, then I bet we're looking at a $2 billion+ USD company.....with a PPS of $20+.....don't resolve any of those issues and I think we could be back to penny land.
