The whole idea of shaking the tree is that its a strategy meant to "shake free" shares from overly price sensitive and impatient shareholders.....and imo that's the reason behind the increasing short position in RVX.  In the three years I've been invested here short interest has never been signficant....I don't think its ever even gotten to one single percent of the 125 million or so outstanding.

If indeed that has been the purpose behind the short selling we've seen.....it must be more than just a little vexing to those employing this strategy to see others adding to their positions.  After all the object is to get shareholders to sell, not to have them add even more.
