Yes, discussion of patents surrounding the BET inhibitors of Resverlogix and Zenith is definitely allowed here. The protection of the intellectual property of any biotech company is important of course! You didn't need to bring up CRISPR/Cas-9 to discuss that! Personally, I feel that any discussion of the patent protection of Resverlogix's and Zenith's BET inhibitors is all speculative. In my opinion, we must assume and hope that the patents filed will afford protection. To my knowledge, there is no reason to doubt that the current filed patents are sufficient. There is the ZEN-3365 issue, but that discussion happened long ago and belongs on the Zenith board.
