What is material about a date on a calendar?

If I asked Clayton if the company used Cottonelle or No Name bathroom tissue would he have to hold that info back and issue a PR so everyone could know?

I'm not asking for any material information....his email to me indicated that the company has a date for the meeting, I understand completely if he's unable to provide a reason as to why the date was changed....again here's what the email said in part...

Unfortunately, we can not advise to the reason for the change in meeting date

Changed to what is all I'm asking....it was Oct 5th and Clayton's email to me says that it has been changed.

All I want to know is to what....I can wait for the reasons. There is no explanation for why he can't tell me....and of course I would share the date here, its just a date after all....if its Oct 21st or 31st who cares.

As I see it there are three possibities:

1. There is no change in meeting date and Clayton merely chose his words poorly....the meeting was been canceled and there is no meeting currently scheduled.
2. The date for the meeting has changed from Oct 5th to another day...but Clayton simply won't give the information out.
3. He tells me the date, along with the brand of bathroom tissue they use and any number of other non-material matters.

Hopefully its 3, but if its 2......anyway I'll probably just give the guy a call Monday afternoon if he hasn't answered my email
