Although DM is CEO and chairman of the Board of Directors, the Board of Directors must approve any major company decision including sale of company. Directors must put the interests of the company first and their interests second. DM is just one member of the board. Even if what rocketman2 posted has any truth to it (sounds like 100% speculation ot me), DM alone can't approve of any sale. If the speculation of DM being "sick of this deal" has any truth to it, which I highly doubt, the likely course of action would be to replace the CEO/chairman of the BOD who is no longer acting in the best interest of the company.
