If there was negative news coming, and if there were someone(s) with foreknowledge, then 25K or so would make zero sense to me....Instead I would expect a massive jump, into the millions.

PPHM just cancelled their PH III trial at the end of Feb....and just prior short sellers triggered a so called "Stop Loss" which basically meant there were no more shares availble for shorting....they'd all been loaned out. I should have bailed because that stop loss notitifcation came out just as the PPS started spiking, with the PPS climbing from under 80 odd cents to over $1.

But being greedy I was dreaming of a short squeeze.....then of course the news of the cancelled trial came out and the PPS tanked down to 30 cents with shorts making millions. Live and learn, if I ever see that situation again...with a stock I own climbing as news of a Stop Loss comes out...I will bail.

25 odd thousand short makes zero sense as a pure short play, at least it doesn't to me. I can't even short RVX, even if I wanted to.....discount brokers will only allow me to short TSX 300 type stocks.
