Message: Re: NR: Resverlogix Further Strengthens the Board of Directors and Appoints...

Hi Jkj and others.

I find the changes to the board very interesting and encouraging. Here are a few observations for what they are worth (in no particular order);

  1. Augurex already has a Health Canada approved diagnostic test on the market based on the 14-3-3η protein which tests for rheumatoid arthrisis and it seems autoimune diseases.
  2. On their website they refer to developing tests resulting in personalized diagnostics and treatment.
  3. They also refer to inflammaotry diseases (seems similar to RVX/Zenith and the multimodal cascading effect of rvx-208 (apabetalone) on the complement system, coagulation, inflammation as well as increasing apolipoprotein (ApoA-l - functional HDL)).
  4. So I wonder if there is a natural synergy between Augurex's science and RVX/Zen?
  5. Ms. Biln has and undergrad degree in science with and MBA.
  6. Her background includes Pfizer and others with lots of experience in business development.
  7. Mr Lu is CFO of Hepalink USA and I find that may possible tie together RVX and Hepalink toward a presence in the USA at some point.
  8. Mr Lu has a long history and depth in capital markets and investment financing...possibly beginning to address issues like the credit line due in 2017.

So my overall sense is that they are beefing up the business development side of the board and this could lead to acceleration of the early revenue initiatives that Don has referred to.

It may also suggest that one of the 2 deals Don referred to is imminent and they need the right team on the board to judge it's merit.

I would dearly love to hear from the science posters regarding POVs re the possible scientific synergies between Augurex and the RVX/Zenith portfolios and platforms.

Either way, once again more talent and expertise has been added to the team. The momentum is building and I am sure key players are beginning to take notice. This move might even help on the issue of coverage by analysts. I hope they leverage this with the press.

Seems like one more good step in Don's chess game possibly to becoming a downstream producer and marketer.

GLTA

Cheers
