It is still early on Monday morning. I wouldn't be surprised for a press release later in the day or week. It is so early in the process that this article isn't even indexed on NCBI PubMed yet. The revised form of the article was received by the journal on 1/20, officially accepted by the journal for publication on 1/21, and published online sometime on 1/22.

The only reason I noticed it and posted it on 1/23 was because my Google notification feed picked up on something related to that journal article's supplemental data.

The article is now published online on the Atherosclerosis journal web page as an "Article in Press," meaning that it will appear in an official issue of the journal at a later date. This is not only common, but the norm.

Give the RVX team some time to have a cup of coffee, celebrate and actually write a press release......it is only Monday morning!
