Fuzzy,
I think we are all growing frustrated. Some of us have more patience than others, but I think it is wearing thin in all of us. Some of us internalize it, others choose to post their frustration. But we all are growing impatient and frustrated. I won't comment on the tax loss selling/shorting since I don't have the experience there to comment. Despite the great news about Phase III BETonMACE kicking off, the impending significant analyst reports (will those still happen?) and the big flurry of scientific presentations in the Fall, the share price just doesn't seem to reflect these accomplishments. Narmac brought up a lot of good critical points in his recent "RVX,,,,,,,,,!" post.
In addition, I'd like to add that the activation of study sites for BETonMACE and/or the updates of clinicaltrials.gov and clinicaltrialsregister.eu seems to be slower than expected. From best as I can tell, only Belgium, Hungary and Croatia have been activated. As you indicated, though sarcastically I think, the FDA might come but who knows. FDA was not a part of ASSURE or SUSTAIN, as I researched in a previous post here. I wasn't an RVX investor during the planning of these trials, so I have no idea if Resverlogix tried to get FDA involved in ASSURE or SUSTAIN or not. I sure would like FDA to come on board so that US sites can be involved in the trial, but it will still be a solid trial regardless. Yes, lack of FDA involvement may slow the eventual approval of RVX-208 in the US, but that is more of a secondary issue relative to the primary goal of BETonMACE meeting its primary endpoint.
I am excited for the orphan trial(s) for complement-mediated disorders and potential kidney disease focused trials. But those are likely several months away.....so not likely to help the shareprice anytime soon.
So yes, whining is warranted. But there is still hope that with additional analyst and media coverage in Q42015, scientific publications in H12016, updates on other trials, updates on BETonMACE site activation/enrollment, etc., that the RVX share price fire will be kindled. But maybe we'll just have to put up with a stagnant or slowly dwindling share price for the rest of the year. I hope not, but that definitely seems to be the trend. There's a lot to be excited for, but for some reason that befuddles me, it's not showing up in the current share price.
Best regards,
BearDownAZ
