Orphans, Inflections and Catalysts.....Oh My

Obviously everyone sees the potential....if we didn't see potential then we wouldn't be here. And we all know the finish line is years out...barring a buyout from big pharma. But you don't have to look far to see other development stage bios that have seen their share prices take off despite not being as far along as Resverlogix.
ESPR is a great example, from around $15 in the summer of 2014, and then a few months later pushing up around $115 for gains in the neighbourhood of 1,000%...
Can something similar happen with RVX? I certainly wouldn't argue with that kind of climb from the current PPS. Of course it would be nice to see us do that without the same precipitous fall that ESPR just had....and I think there's good reason to think, if we're lucky enough to climb 1,000% that we would avoid the big drop they've seen.
Compare ESPRs climb from their June 2013 IPO with RVX's jump in early 2007 after going IPO in 2004....I'll put both down to early stage excitement fueled by an industry that stood to profit from both climbing at that early juncture.
Now RVX is fully funded, so underwriting brokerages and their MM colleagues don't have any incentive to push it like they just did with ESPR, or as they did with RVX back in 2007 when it went over $20
Our hope, or my hope because this is my opinion after all, is that their are industry players loading up......and all the trading I've seen over the past several months combined with the chart, it says to me...that is what's been happening.
All the rest...stonegate, zacks..and anything else, news, events, ophran indications...inflection points..catalysts, that'll just be background to the real show.
Here's hoping we're going much much higher over the coming weeks and months....obviously if it happens we'll all be trying to figure out what's driving it...imo if we move higher its because industry players are giving us a push.
That's fine by me :-)
