Don McCaffrey has alluded to the FDA orphan/pediatric disease voucher program when discussing the imminent (he said a couple of weeks last Friday) RVX-208 orphan disease indication announcment. I can't say that I completely understand the orphan/pediatric disease designation and the FDA voucher program, but I found this article to be very educational.
