If the goal is to creat the illusion of volume, something that I do believe is done when a stock is ''in play''.....then I would expect to see tens and hundreds of thousands being moved around, not a few measly hundred or a one or two thousand. If someone wants to creat the impression of big time trading activity we need to see volume in the hundreds of thousands and millions.
