Yes, tue and frustrating.

I'm still guessing that the science is huge...epigenetics, rosuvastatin-rvx-208 patents through 2029, 8 year lead, power house of the scientists and board, scientific resources from NGN, Eastern and now Hepalink. This is not a fly by night company. It has a real base of intellectual property and scientific development. I personally believe they have a blockbuster in rvx-208 BUT more importantly I feel they have a scientific approach and process in epigenetics that is almost limitless. Perhaps this is the true resource and equity of RVX. Don is very positive and almost laughing these days. Part of that is that he makes $800,000 + per year and to me he should be giving $500,000 of his pay to his scientists. Anyway, good for Don. He has earned it and it will pay out.

So for me, as frustrated as I am, I still believe that the real gem is the intellectual property and their processes. Going back 8 or 10 years ago from what I can see they hooked into epigenetics as the way forward (Double Helix - Cricket & Watt). From what I had read, and I am not a scientist, epigenetics is the software that programs genes. I think that anyone that reads any science understands that the early work in trying to cure diseases by gene splicing and replacement has been extremely difficult and generally not successful. However, re-programming of gene production has shown hope and this is what rvx-208 does. So what is life about these days other than building software and re-programming. In other words perhaps the most powerful tool to get a gene to function or to turn off a mal-functioning gene is the software that programs it (epigenetics - e.g. this is what Zenith and Resverlogix are all about and have been for 8 to 10 years). And thus their real equity is in their patents and intellectual processes i.e. their scientists. And perhaps that is why some left....to steel intellectual property (or perhaps they thought it was theirs).

Anyway, I have wandered too far here.

I do remain extremely frustrated by management but so thankfull to the scientists. Hope my fingers won't be slapped for my comments on this site but I don't really care if they are. For me, any good and productive site is about integrity and I am telling you honestly what I think.
