I'm thinking of the scene where the market is going lower and lower....and the Dukes are in their car contemplating the bottom, Eddid Murphy..."Valentine" advises the Dukes to wait...guys are worrying that Christmas is coming and they won't be able to afford the GI Joe with the Kung Fu Grip...he tells them to let it fall another certain number of points and then to start buying.

I think we're looking at the same scenario here....I do believe there are buyers waiting to pounce, but first they want to clear out the, (as they're called in the movie) suckers....
