Toniv,

HDL is very likely part of the solution. However, there is a huge mechanistic difference between CETP inhibitor-mediated increases in HDL and RVX-208 mediated increases. The science behind RVX-208 suggests that the new HDL generated by RVX-208 is due to new apoAI synthesis and new HDL particle formation. The CETP approach affects how the HDL particle are catabolized in the circulation and is more of an effect on already generated HDL particles.
