Hi bfw.

I really don't agree with you on this but I am not an expert. From my perspective and taking a business POV I would get going with a well designed trial in Europe and China and if they do another regional deal I get the trial going there is well. There is great science and great scientists all around the world including China and India and Russia, etc.

The FDA does not rule the world although I will admit that if the FDA approves a drug it is accepted immediately in Canada (we just roll over and take it...to our benefit). But that is just the "North American Centric" bias. We are only 400 millions of peoples, if even that. If we were in Paris or Frankfort we would view the picture very differently. The Germans, French, British, Swedish, Danes, etc are not running to the USA with "cap in hand" looking for scientific approvals or begging for scientific insight.

So I say, go to any scientifically advanced country, including China where they have the vision and foresight to move this ahead and let the USA lag behind and pick it up 10 years down the road. Innovation and advancement does not happen in large bureaucratic institutions and countries. For example, take what the Japenese and German auto industries have done to the big 3 auto giants in the USA. They brought quality and high standards and reliability and completely changed the business model.

So my message to Don and Resverlogix would be "you've got the science and you believe in your research. Go to scientifically advanced countries, develop a trial design that will be accepted around the world (eventually but by progressive countries soon) and complete an extremely well designed trial."

Anyway, there are lots of options and the FDA is a power house but the world is much bigger that North America so I will take anybodies $ and love to see them benefits from rvx-208.

Thanks to everyone for your valuable insights.

JMHO

Cheers

Toinv :)
