TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2010) - Rencore Resources Ltd. (CNSX:RNC) ("Rencore)" or the "Company") wishes to announce the completion of a VTEM transient electromagnetic airborne survey in the Ring of Fire area of the James Bay Lowlands. The survey was flown over two blocks and totalled 1,670 line kms. The survey area is located within 100 km of the Eagle One magmatic massive sulphide deposit of Noront Resources Ltd. The Eagle One deposit is located approximately 575 km north of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The survey was carried out by Geotech Ltd. of Newmarket, Ontario.
Two survey blocks were selected by the Rencore team of experts who have extensive experience within and around the Ring of Fire area of the James Bay Lowlands. The two blocks named REN 6 and REN 8, returned a number of significant anomalies that the company believes warrant drill testing. Preliminary interpretation has been carried out by Scott Hogg and Associates Ltd., geophysical consultants.
In general, anomalies within the Ring of Fire Area that have a significant time constant have proven to be associated with sulphide mineralization. Anomalies within blocks REN 6 and REN 8 have similar time constants to that exhibited by Noront's Eagle One geophysical anomaly. Within the two blocks there are approximately eight separate conductors that the company must prioritize for drill testing, expected to commence in early 2011.
Due to the encouraging results of this VTEM survey, the company has staked approximately 30 claims comprising 450 units covering an area of approximately 7,200 hectares or 17,856 acres. An overview of this geophysical survey will be posted on the Rencore website at
