11:46 AM EDT, 08/08/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Red Pine Exploration (RPX.V) surged 8% in recent trade on the back of positive assay results from its Wawa Gold Project in Ontario.

The company has received assay results for a total of 7,600 of the 11,000 meters of historic core logged this year and found more than 0.1 grams per tonne of gold in 51% of the sampled holes.
