Nice video Canuck! This is actually a better video than most I've seen. Well I'm hoping Charest does get back into power and Quebecers see that he is the only one to actually stimulate the economy. The last budget was a good indication that shale gas will happen. I honestly think they only way you can really get over fears is actually drilling these wells. Have them test ground water (the government so nothing is biased) and tell the people that it's safe. I'm pretty positive that their have been tests done on ground water on those fracked Quebec wells yet we had no ground water contamination. Most companies say accidents that do happen are done on the surface with spills, so things that have to be done carefully.
The people to really convince are the land owners and farmers in Quebec...they're the ones whose lands are drilled on. St Eduoard farmers/residents were 90% in favour of drilling and their mayor was very disappointed that the delay came. From what I hear from QEC, the tide is shifting with farmers. I don't believe most of them are radical like these hypocrite environmentalists that heat their homes with gas and then have the nerve to question a proven safe practice.
The key is regulating it and making sure checks are in place so everyone has piece of mind, especially farmers. Alberta farmers seems to be doing find with it all, along with many farmers. Frankly if we didn't live in an age with so much social media and technology, the media wouldn't have been able to create such an uproar with extremist claims. Just the way of the world I guess.
The DEC NY report on fracking should be out shortly I hear (after 4 years), and so will the EPA. Both indications show nothing wrong and expect that to stay that way. This will be important to the SEA. Frankly these reports are actually super reliable, being that testing was done on ACTUAL wells, not sitting around a table bs'ing all day reading other peoples reports lol. I'm honestly hoping they're writing legislation and rules, because that's all you can do in a room without actual scietific facts.
On a side note, this Redleaf test will be something else.
Here is a recent interview:

This is a solid video explaining this project and other things. 2014 is when the expect early commercialization of the utah ecoshale so their are quite a few catalysts for that time. I think they said they are analyzing the Sask shale land to apply this technology as well.
It's been a wait for sure, but should be interesting times ahead.
Hope everyone is good!
