Bruce: Another great post. News just keeps getting better. I really like the part where they make reference to the carbonate concentrations and clay content in the Utica. This may not appear so important to the average investor but is important to a geologist as it makes the rock more brittle (less maleable and easier to make a clean fracfrac) and has less clay which makes it easier to clean the fracs after the formation is frac'd. They also mention that the geographic area is much greater than the Marcellus or the Barnett as well. Let's hope the Minister of the environment can get her act together and provide the BAPE's report soon. With NB pushing their gas exploration as hard as they are QC could find themselves falling behind quite easily. All JIMHO. Foghorn
