I agree there's some positive elements in these two articles, but the perspective is though very negative and biased towards shale gas. F.ex I read:
"All the more reason to continue exploration, said Natural Resources Minister Nathalie Normandeau, the head cheerleader for the shale-gas industry, so the risks can be assessed -by using nearby residents as lab rats.
And even the minister of health, who is a medical doctor by profession, didn't seem worried. Even without reading the report, Yves Bolduc knew it didn't show any "particular problem."
So, Quebec, prepare to get fracked " Much irony and sarcastic language here.
The msg in the other article is in the same spirit: The authorities don't know really the risk about fraccing, so they conclude its not dangerous.
It means they take a big risk ignoring health concerns etc. So people must be aware of these bad leaders etc.
