Happy New Year, Sebastian,
The TSX is closed today so I've checked in with Questerre on the Pinks just for fun and the sp was up 6.38% but has now dropped to -3.43% however the volume is tiny. I'm actually hoping that there is some profit taking early in January so that I can purchase some more shares. Profit taking or a decline in sp will offer opportunitiy.
As to what can counter a decline to sp I think some newsletter rebuttals/education would be helpful although it is not, of course, going to have a direct affect on sp. I live in NB and there has been a huge outcry against shale gas in my area and I found this "No Fracking Way" article in a newsletter in an 'eco-cafe' in Edmundston (on the NB/Quebec border): http://www.nbmediacoop.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1086:no-fracking-way&catid=82:environment&Itemid=197 There is also a link to the GasLand Trailer on this page.
There will be intense resistance in NB for the usual reasons but also because Penobsquis is one of the targeted shale gas areas and is also where the Potash mines are and some Penobsquis residents lost their well water (there is no mains water) and rely on water being being trucked in. The disappearance of the ground water is attributed to the Potash mines. http://www.penobsquis.ca/
I'm optimistic and confident and it will be interesting to see where we are by the Summer.
