It even says in 2004 the EPA did studies and said fracing was safe...and so have many others. This is until May, but even if it did permenantely, it would be a limited ban...whatever that mean.
Frankly Mr Binnion said it right in an interview I saw before...not 10 years ago they were saying that North American had no gas, we were running out etc. Today, it is a bonanza bringing in huge wealth for land owners, states, provinces and at the same time GAS. We need it now and probably for the next 100 years. If it doesn't get produced here, we would have to get it from europe or other countries...and good luck on the US or Canada paying tens of billions for gas to other countries when we sit on some of the most in the world.
Don't forget if they ban it, the state will lose hundreds of millions...in the long term billions and also tens of thousands of jobs.
They can place a temporary stop like Penslyvania, but I doubt it amounts to anything. The number of cases to the number of wells drilled is so small...weather it be improper techniques, cutting corners etc...if they need to do anything, is to regulate it better so nothing like that happens again.
That's my opinion anyway.
