I agree with Tectol. I guess you would know best being from Quebec. He won't resign and has already taken some stance to be called the "god father" by issuing letigation against the person (I can't remember which opposition) that called him this.

He still has 2 years in office is this not right? This is about dollars, and even if another Liberal were to take his place, this thing would still move forward...this is about money here and Quebec needs it.

The same opposition was taken against oil sands but it's about money...and now Alberta is flowing in it, BC and SASK are coming along. When Michael Binnion was talking to the Parliment (Natural Resources people) a few mentioned Quebec is falling behind to all these provinces. Some great points were made from him also about many of the people from Quebec that are working in Alberta wishing they could move back to Quebec and do the same work. From what I gather from his presentation, the industry is gaining ground and lots of support is flowing to them...we just don't hear about it as the media only likes to write about the opposition.

Bencro who posts on the other board goes to the BAPE meetings and confirms these things...as he has talked to QEC, TLM and other companies as well.

The fact that Gaz Metro is going to start construction next summer on the pipeline is a huge sign of moving forward. It will tie in St Ed and Leclerville and probably another 6-8 wells on that pad. Frankly you don't set up all that pipeline for 2 wells...this is the start of something bigger moving forward imo.
