There is a lot more gas in Quebec than just what we focus on with the onshore acres in our fairway between Montreal and Quebec. Combine all the non-fairway acres, the offshore stuff, and other regions in Quebec and you might get to that $200B. The article wasn't focused and just threw out numbers from where ever. Someone new to the play trying to work out the value of QEC would be completely lost. Putting the entire Quebec OGIP number at 40 Bcf is just unforgivable though, it just shows they don't understand what they're looking at.

Honestly, the "experts" and "analysts" throwing out numbers and information like that was exactly why I started managing my own money and doing a lot more DD. I realized some time ago that the "experts" actually knew less than I did about the stocks they were promoting or bashing.
