There are several issues which have to be resolved:

1. Forest now knows which section of the Utica to target. The vertical wells "frac" the entire 500 foot section of the Utica while the horizontal wells must pick the sweet spot. I believe that none of the three wells targeted the best section.

2. If the frac fluid are not pumped out it seems that the natural gas pushes it up the vertical section of the wellbore which would impede gas flow and lower rates.

3. Forest Oil intends to enter the wells to gather more data and rework the wells.

I am hoping that Forest Oil cooperates with Talisman and shares data to accelerate the development of this gas play.
