The fact that QEC is being added to the small cap index, is like Somkey2 and Ineptus stated, will cause buying from fund managers. The addition takes effect monday 22nd of September. Expect some decent volume on Friday.

Unfortunately, it is down in Oslo this morning to 13.3 = 2.48CAN. Are traders and hedge fund going to keep this stock down until more news? I figure that they will be able to for a few more weeks, but not too much more than that. Long term prospects are great!
