This estimate is much higher than the 3500$/acre estimate that was given before by Josef Schachter. If the value of the land does compare to the Fayette shale, we will easily see much higher prices. It is still speculation, but I believe that most people had already considered that the land value will increase considerably once results and flow rates are seen (assuming them to be positive). The move today, can be related to the people looking at QEC as a value buy and that most of the summer holidays have come to an end.
