Message: Re: QEC increase production by 30% overnight

Hi Okkeg!

No problem, I'll always post when I know something. Actually, something else that Jason told me, was that Forest Oil try to make an agreement to farm in on QEC and Talisman land, but they were unsuccessful. It always led me to believe that the Forest Oil results are quite good and they are trying to secure as much land before the results come in. I think mainly because if the results are indeed very good, then we could have a feeding frenzy on our hands with many companies wanting a piece of the action.

I was actually told by Jason about the 33boe/day rates of the wells, but I didn't know how many wells were possible. I think that if that were the case, this could make QEC indeed like you said, a very big company. I am glad that they are going to drill more wells in Greater Sierra. The wells come in at a high flow rate and so adding to production is easier with them. I was told that 2 wells would be placed for every square mile on the 54sq miles they own, making 108 wells with ~160boe/day per well would add huge value to QEC. I was told by Jason, that they own 100% in 1 sq mile in a certain area too!

Anyways, long on QEC and hopefully things will pay off!

Do you know anything about what they plan to do with Beaver River? I think we should be hearing about the Manville/Vulcan play soon too!

Rocco:)
