Hey guys....
I was researching for some other forums for QEC, but most of them are in Norway and so I don't understand. Although many of them do email Jason(I am assuming he answers all the emails) and he gives a reply and they post it on the forums...this was one of the replies given recently I am assuming.....reading my last post and the end of the reply given, I think it might be a good indication that Forest Oil has recieved the results from the Quebec play and are trying to get more land before results are released.....of course we don't know, but someone at QEC might think so as well....
"They are still gathering the pressure data from all the perforations on the A-8 well. Once we have the data it will be analyzed and we will announce the results. For our planning purposes, we are not including any production from this well in our forecast for 2008.
The second well at Greater Sierra tested at a better rate than the first well. EnCana has started the work to tie-in both wells to the pipeline system. The work on the 3-D seismic program is also underway and scheduled to be completed before the end of the first quarter.
No update yet from Forest Oil/Gastem on the results of the existing shale gas wells or future drilling. As I mentioned earlier, I think they are trying to acquire more acreage based on these results. Talisman is processing the seismic data they acquired last winter and should begin the interpretation process soon."

I thought I would just paste this on this forum so everyone can read it....great news that the second Greater Sierra well tested higher than the first, and the first was like 330boe/day...so great start to that property for us! Hopefully Nahanni will be on production....he mentioned they like to be conservative and not include it in the production numbers for the year, but we'll see!
