I thought that a payment schedule was agreed to, but other than the first apyment haven't heard much more about this, and wonder if they have sent another installment. 

I don't think it was Peter's son that put the deal together. I think that they created the US company to satisfy their governments restrictions of buying goods from Canada. Could it be their government stepping in and investigating the transaction that has left the payment in limbo as the facts around the government restrictions and creating the company have been made public of why the US Division was created to get aaround the government restrictions.
