What does very near future mean?

Somehow I think answering “…somewhere between imminent and far future..” would not suffice, right?

I am hesitant to nail it down in months/weeks/days.  It is meant to convey that it is a front burner issue that is being attended to as we speak so “very near future” came to mind.

Let me ask you: when you read “very near future” what comes to mind? If its days, you would be wrong.  If its years you would be wrong as well. Share with me your impression and let’s see if I can confirm or otherwise.
