The last trading day for Canadian and US publicly traded stocks to record a loss or gain for the 2021 taxation year is December 29th.

The Toronto Stock exchange closes on Friday, December 24th at 1:00PM and is closed on Monday, December 27th and Tuesday, December 28th.
