The last sentence speaks to where this is going.... Peter is correct as to the need and the associated regulations that will be pushing this need. Normally, I take issue with government regulations - but Pyro's offerings are such that they make these regulations palitable. We can add technology (yes, it will cost you) to your landfills that will convert this to a gas that is less poluting that will add revenues now and into the future to add to your municipalities bottom line which will offset the initial cost / invenstement and lead to a return on capital. Otherwise, the methane will just leak into the atmoshere with no added revenue / value. To me, this would be a no brainer to add this type of tech that would be a good use of taxpayer money in my view. I guess this is what Peter referes to as making "Sustainability Sustainable".
The United States is due to release oil and gas methane regulations this week. The EU and Canada both plan to unveil methane legislation addressing the energy sector later this year.
