As someone who lived in an intensive care unit with my son for the first year of his life and routinely return to a Children’s Hospital I find Peter’s words repulsive. He shamelessly basked in the adoration of others after claiming this. Upon witnessing the living hell that my son and others his age go through then to have Pete use that suffering to exalt himself is a level of sickening narcissism. Seriously words cannot describe how awful that is.

So Laporte claimed that Peter said Peter made claims that he was going to build a children's hospital, and that he shamelessly basked in the adoration of thers after claiming this.

Laporte later retracted his statement : @laporte @Dodgetown yes turns out you are correct. He said it was a dream one day to do it. I was wrong. I sincerely hope he does.
