Message: Waste gasification question

Dear Pennytodollar,

Interesting question.

Thanks for posting here.

Combustible waste components actually convert into a syngas which is composed of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. Syngas is used as building blocks for various chemical synthesis and we could imagine producing different chemicals from this gas, including, who knows many years from now maybe even, polymers.  A shorter-term application would be to maximize the production of hydrogen from the waste.  We see more and more people asking us for cost competitive methods to produce clean hydrogen.

Hope that helps,

Peter
