Dear Readers,
I received a couple of questions privately, and I decided to answer them in the public discussion room.
First, I am a US citizen as is my son Alex Pascali...for what that's worth...
Second, Drosrite International LLC is not Canadian owned. It is 100% US owned. It is, in fact, a New Jersey Foreign Limited Liability Company. For New Jersey purposes, if an LLC is formed in another state, then it is known as a foreign LLC in New Jersey. In other words, foreign doesn’t mean from another country. Instead, it means the business was organized under the laws of another state. In the case of Drosrite International LLC it was originally incorporated in Delaware as many LLC’s are. According to New Jersey’s LLC Act, you are required to register your out of state (“foreign”) company with the state of New Jersey if the company is “transacting business” or “doing business” in New Jersey.
Hope that helps the person that posed the questions as well as other readers,
Sincerely,
Peter
